Educational and Behavior Consultant
I am a highly experienced educator with over 40 years of service in public education, including Fairfax County Public Schools as well as school systems in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Indiana. I specialize in social-emotional learning, parent and teacher coaching, behavior management, and collaborative, data-driven practices that enhance teacher effectiveness and student outcomes.
Throughout my career, I have held a range of roles, including special education teacher, team lead for emotional disability support services, inclusion coach, instructional coach, and behavior specialist. I have extensive training in therapeutic curricula and hold certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), and Cognitive Coaching. In addition, I have developed and delivered professional learning experiences for administrators, teachers, and families.
My primary focus is to advocate for and empower children, families, and educational teams by identifying strength-based strategies that support both academic success and social-emotional development. I am particularly skilled in navigating both public and private school systems to ensure that students with diverse learning and behavioral needs receive appropriate, effective support.

A central component of our work is educational advocacy. We support families in understanding their child’s needs, navigating complex school systems, and making informed, confident decisions. We advocate alongside families to ensure that children receive appropriate supports, services, and opportunities for success.
We also provide instructional coaching to educators and school teams, focusing on strengthening classroom practices, improving student engagement, and implementing data-driven strategies that support diverse learners. Through observation, feedback, modeling, and collaborative problem-solving, we help build teacher capacity and consistency across settings.
